Arizona Foundation for Women to Host Human Trafficking Talk in Advance of Human Trafficking Awareness Day on January 11
Media invited to attend event or speak to Arizona Foundation for Women staff member on human trafficking
Arizona Foundation for Women is shining a light on the horrors of human trafficking in advance of National Human Trafficking Awareness Day on January 11.
The organization is dedicating one of its She Talks! salons to the topic at an intimate and educational event taking place on Wednesday, January 10.
The event will feature four guest speakers — executive director of Hickey Family Foundation Nancy E. Baldwin, Phoenix coordinator for CEASE Network Angie Bayless, director of TRUST Justin Miller and CEO of ALWAYS Barbara Mundell.
“Human trafficking is such an important topic that isn’t discussed nearly enough,” said Arizona Foundation for Women CEO, Mesha Davis. “We’re looking forward to bringing more awareness to this issue and facilitating these critical conversations amongst the community and respected experts on the topic with our ‘Human Trafficking: A Community Response’ event.”
